The Great Southwest Athletic Conference is getting bigger. Two more schools have joined the GSAC for the 2025–2026 season. One is a familiar foe for Embry-Riddle . . . La Sierra University. The Golden Eagles and the Eagles battled each other in the Cal Pac Conference over the past decade. The other new GSAC member is Soka International University. Its teams primarily competed in the Cal Pac over the past several years.
With the addition of these schools, the GSAC is now up to ten schools. Along with Embry-Riddle, La Sierra, and Soka, there’s also Arizona Christian, Benedictine-Mesa, Ottawa University, Park University, Hope International, The Master’s University, and Life Pacific University.
As for the Cal Pac Conference, it now consists of six schools: Cal Maritime, Pacific Union, Westcliff University, Simpson University, Stanton University, and Northern New Mexico College.
