Former YC Ballplayers Doing Well in the Pros

Time for another look at former Yavapai College baseball players in the pros. JoJo Romero is on the roster of the St. Louis Cardinals. In 36 appearances, most of them out of the bullpen, he is 3–3 with a 2.45 ERA, 26 strikeouts, and 15 walks in 29 innings.

Ken Giles is pitching for Yucatan in the Mexican League. In 13 games, he is 0–0 with a 3.00 ERA, 12 strikeouts, and eight walks in 12 innings.

Riley Egloff is in his second season with the Grand Junction Jackalopes of the independent Pioneer League. He is 4–2 with a 5.61 ERA, 32 strikeouts, and five walks in 33 innings.

Alex Isola is with the Lancaster Stormers of the independent Atlantic League. He is hitting .242 with seven home runs, 33 RBIs, 16 doubles, and 39 runs scored.
