They did not just have good grades… they had some of the best grades in the country. The Embry-Riddle women’s basketball team made the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s Top 25 Academic Team among NAIA schools. Riddle came in at number seven on the list with a total team GPA of 3.725 for the 2024–25 school year.
This is the culmination of several academic honors earned by the Lady Eagles during last season. Six players were named to both the NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team and GSAC All-Academic Team, with four players named to the College Sports Communicators All-District Academic Team.
Coming in ahead of Riddle on the list are Tabor College at number six, Cornerstone University at number five, Carroll College at number four, Bethel University at number three, Hastings College at number two, and Cumberlands University at number one.
