Overnight lane restrictions continue this week on I-17 through Yavapai County. The interstate between Black Canyon City and New River Road will be reduced to one lane starting at either 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. and lasting until either 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. through Saturday. This is needed to accommodate striping work, bridge work, and survey work.
In addition, the Bumble Bee Road off-ramp on southbound I-17 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday through Friday to accommodate striping work. Anyone traveling along this part of the interstate should allow for extra time to reach their destination and be alert for construction personnel and equipment.
This is part of the I-17 Improvement Project, which should be completed later this year.
