They lost quite a few key players from last year, including All-Americans Rae Yoshioka and Annabelle Ruckle. But the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team will have plenty of capable returners for 2025 to help them defend their GSAC title.
At the forefront is Jamie Black, who scored 14 goals and was an All-GSAC selection last season. Also back is another Jamie, Jamie Brandon, who also made the All-GSAC team with eight goals scored. Ella Carnahan returns after notching four goals in 2024.
Two locals are also back for Riddle — Prescott grad Kari Kasun had two goals and three assists last year, while Chino Valley product Kaitlyn Roskopf posted four goals..
Midfielder Sophia Bohon started 14 games last year, garnering one goal and four assists. Midfielder Lauren Otto made 17 starts last season.
Embry-Riddle begins practice this week and opens the season August 30th at home versus Oregon Tech.
