Awards for Yavapai County Attorney’s Office Staff

The Yavapai County Attorney’s Office earned several awards for its service to the community. Marie Higgins was honored with the Victim Advocate Lifetime Achievement Award at the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys Advisory Council’s annual conference. She has worked in the Victim Services Division for two decades.


Christina Wesnitzer received the Victim Advocate of the Year Award. She has been the County Attorney’s Victim Services Supervisor for the past two years.


Peggy Wagner received the Legal Assistant Lifetime Achievement Award at the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys Advisory Council’s statewide conference. She recently retired from the Yavapai County Attorney’s Office after a 45-year career in the legal field.


Deputy County Attorney Steven Sisneros received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys Advisory Council’s annual conference. He has spent over twenty years with the Yavapai County Attorney’s Office.
