A small wildfire broke out in Prescott Valley this morning. Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority units were dispatched to East Valley Road between U-Pick-It and the town water treatment plant. That stretch of the road was closed by police to accommodate firefighting efforts.
The blaze was quickly brought under control. The cause of the fire is not known.
