Prescott Valley is in the running for a couple of national communications awards. The town is a finalist in not one, but two categories for the prestigious National Government Communicators Savvy Awards.
Out of more than 1,100 entries across 40 categories, the town is being recognized for best one-time special event — the Jasper Parkway opening, a collaborative effort involving multiple town departments — and for best strategic communications plan, showcasing the skill and dedication of the communications team.
The Savvy Awards honor outstanding work by government communicators across the country. The winners will be announced September 4. This is the first time Prescott Valley has been a national finalist for these awards.
