They may have lost last year’s Defensive Player of the Year in Ava Lee and two of their top hitters in Kalli Smith and Sadie Sullivan, but the Bradshaw Mountain volleyball team will have plenty of talent back for the 2025 season.
Mackenzie Proffer returns to set up the offense. Last season, she recorded 421 assists, along with 126 digs, and made the All-Grand Canyon Region First Team. One of Proffer’s targets is Eliana Moll, who notched 119 kills in 2024, along with 125 digs and 23 ace serves. Emma Johnson posted 89 kills, 101 digs, and 37 aces last season. Mackenzie Strader compiled 49 kills, 58 digs, and 13 aces. All three received All-Region honorable mentions last year.
Other key returners are Ashley Johnson, who tallied 60 kills, 98 digs, and 19 aces last season, and Annie Platt, who registered 79 digs in 2024.
Bradshaw Mountain opens the season at home August 28th versus Cactus Shadows.
