Participants Sought for Prescott’s 2025 Veterans Day Parade

It’s not for a few months, but the City of Prescott is already putting out the call for participants in this year’s Veterans Day Parade. It takes place November 11th in downtown Prescott. Opening ceremonies begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Cortez/Union Street intersection, with the parade itself getting underway at 11 a.m.

This year’s theme is “Celebrating America’s Patriots—250 Years of Military Service.” Entries will compete in seven categories, including non-profits, fraternal and military organizations, motorized groups, music, marching units, veteran hospital entries, and commercial businesses.

Participation in the parade is free. Applications are due by October 20th. Forms and rules are available on the city’s recreation services website under programs and special events.
