ERAU Women’s Soccer Grabs #1 Spot in GSAC Pre-Season Poll

They go into the 2025 season as the defending Great Southwest Athletic Conference champions, so it’s not that much of a surprise that the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team would be ranked number one in the conference’s pre-season poll. The Lady Eagles garnered 79 points, including seven first place votes.

Hope International, who went 14-4-2 and made the NAIA national tournament last year, came in at number two in the poll with 74 points. The Master’s University, last year’s conference runner-up, came in at number three with 65 votes.

Rounding out the rest of the pre-season poll, Ottawa is number four with 52 points; Soka International is number five with 47 points; at number six is Arizona Christian with 40 points; number seven is Park with 35 points; number eight is La Sierra with 35 points; at number nine is Benedictine-Mesa with 22 points; and coming in at number ten is Life Pacific, who had one win last year, with ten points.
