Opening day is nearly here for several local teams. One of those openers takes place today as the Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain girls golf teams go head-to-head at Antelope Hills, with Mingus and Lee Williams thrown into the mix.
Friday sees the first local football games of the 2025 season. Chino Valley’s first game of the year is home versus Arizona Lutheran. Meanwhile, Mayer heads north to start the season at Williams. Friday is also the season opener for the Yavapai College volleyball team. They play at the Arizona Western Tournament, with two matches on the day versus Glendale and Central Wyoming.
Then on Sunday, the Embry-Riddle men’s soccer team opens its 2025 campaign with a home game versus Justice University.
