Sharlot Hall Museum Hosts WWII Lecture

Prescott’s Sharlot Hall Museum will mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two. A lecture is scheduled for September 6th titled “When the Guns Went Silent, World War Two 80 Years Later.”

The presenter is historian Robin LaCorte, who is the Holocaust education program coordinator at the Martin-Springer Institute at NAU, and the daughter and granddaughter of three World War Two veterans. Her talk will cover the challenges of veterans transitioning back to civilian life, as well as the stories of Prescott area World War Two veterans.

The lecture begins at 2 p.m. on September 6th.
