The Prescott Valley Police Department is hosting a car seat check this Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Park Collective on East Pav Way.
Parents and guardians can drive through and have their child’s car seat or booster seat inspected by certified technicians. The event aims to make sure seats are properly installed and safe for use.
Each check takes about 20 to 30 minutes. If a seat is found to be expired or damaged, the technicians will replace it on the spot.
