It was one rainy Sunday for Yavapai County.
According to the County Flood Control District, Granite Basin received 0.87 inches of rain. Williamson Valley got 0.79 inches. Sierra Prieta had three-quarters of an inch of rain. Outer Loop Road received 0.59 inches. Mayer and Big Bug Creek both got 0.55 inches. Thumb Butte had 0.35 inches. Cordes Junction received 0.31 inches. Goldwater Lake, Fain Lake, and Dugas all got 0.28 inches. Lynx Lake and Pine Ridge Marketplace both had under a quarter-inch of rain. Haisley Homestead received 0.20 inches. Prescott Heights got 0.16 inches. Yarnell and Seligman both had 0.08 inches, and Big Chino Wash and Sedona both received 0.04 inches of rain.
More rain is in the forecast for the Prescott area today as the National Weather Service is calling for a 70-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
