Local scoreboard from yesterday, in volleyball, Yavapai College got edged out by Chandler-Gilbert, 3–2. Chino Valley was swept by Winslow, 3–0. Avery Bradshaw posted eleven assists. Mayer lost to Sedona Red Rock, 3–1.
Golf, the Prescott girls placed first in their five-team multi-meet with a score of 196. Carolyn Westerman battled the flu to finish first individually with a 44. Bradshaw Mountain’s Brooke Teasley came in third with a 48.
