Local scoreboard from yesterday, soccer, the Chino Valley boys lost to Payson 10-1. Josh Brown notched the Cougars lone goal. Women, number 14 Embry-Riddle and number three John Brown University played to a 2-2 draw. Jamie Black scored both Lady Eagle goals.
Volleyball, Prescott dispatched Shadow Mountain 3-0. Bradshaw Mountain got swept by Estrella Foothills 3-0. Mackenzie Proffer made six digs. Chino Valley fell to Camp Verde 3-0. Lilliana Rodriguez recorded 12 digs. Mayer lost to Maryvale Prep 3-0.
Swim, at the Mingus multi-meet, Bradshaw Mountain’s Brielle Bennion won the girls 100 fly and 100 breast.
