Lane restrictions are in place this week for one stretch of I-17 through Yavapai County. The southbound portion of the interstate will be reduced to one lane between Bumble Bee Road and Coldwater Road from 7 p.m. till 7 a.m. through Thursday. This is needed so crews can perform pavement work. No restrictions are in place for northbound I-17.
Motorists should be aware of reduced speeds and construction personnel and equipment. This is part of the I-17 improvement project, which should be finished before the end of the year.
