Local scoreboard from the weekend, yesterday. Soccer, the Embry-Riddle men lost to Carroll 1-nil. Ladies, Embry-Riddle and University of Science and Arts Oklahoma tied at zero. Chino Valley lost to Show Low 8-0.
Volleyball, Yavapai went 3-1 at its tournament. Embry-Riddle got swept by Ottawa 3-0. Emma Barber notched eleven kills. Prescott went 3-6 at the Westwood Tournament of Champions.
The Prescott girls golf team finished eighth at its invitational. Individually, Carolyn Westerman came in eleventh.
Cross country, the Embry-Riddle men and women won their invitational. Dillon Eisner was first for the men and Sophia Noriega finished first for the women. At the Western Equinox Invitational, Chino Valley’s Eliana Metz placed 12th in the girls race. Prescott’s Micah Hickman placed second in the boys freshman race.
At the Flying Feathers Badminton Invitational, Prescott finished runner-up. Annabelle Courtney and Claire Long were selected to the all-tournament team.
