Working families need places to live in Prescott, and they could have some houses or apartments in their price range in the future. Rick Merritt is the president and CEO of Pollack and Company, a consulting firm tasked with finding affordable housing solutions for the city.

Breaking it down, there are more than 270 traditional apartments either under construction or permitted, with nearly 1,200 more planned. There are 200 single unit homes under construction, and 46 condos and townhomes that have received their permits.
