A traffic shift is scheduled for this week on one stretch of I-17 through Yavapai County. Traffic in the southbound lane will be shifted to the flex lanes starting at midnight Tuesday and lasting until 5 a.m. Friday.
In addition, the southbound on-ramps at Sunset Point and Bumble Bee Road will be closed Tuesday morning through Friday morning. Motorists should be aware of reduced speeds and construction personnel and equipment.
This is part of the I-17 improvement project, which should be finished before the end of the year.
