It was all Bradshaw Mountain, all night long. Fueled by the pomp and circumstance of homecoming, the Bears football team smoked Mingus Friday night by a score of 59-0. Kylin Jackson had four touchdowns. Andrew Van Dell returned a punt 60 yards for a score. Zander Mendibles recorded two-and-a-half sacks. Bradshaw is now 2-2 on the season.
That was not the only blowout involving our local football teams Friday. Over in Kingman, Chino Valley rocked Kingman Academy 38-8. Maddux Brashier and Teagan DeBono each had two touchdowns. Jaden “Bubbles” Taylor, Kaysen Files, and Garrett Crumnley each registered two sacks. Kade Schmidt had an interception. The Cougars are now 4-1 on the season.
Mayer had a tough night, losing to Mogollon 59-6. The Wildcats have a record of 1-3.
