It was one busy weekend for the Prescott volleyball team with several matches at the Epic Tourneys Invitational in the Valley. They did not get much time to rest and recover before their next match, which was Monday, and was up in Flagstaff versus Coconino.
Whatever fatigue the Lady Badgers had, they battled through it. Prescott took the first set 25-19, then owned set number two 25-13. Both the Lady Badgers and Lady Panthers put up a heck of a fight in the third set, but it was the blue and gold that came out on top 25-23 to get the 3-0 sweep.
“The Gem” Ruby Jensen notched 12 kills and Bella Abt recorded nine kills. No other stats were available before air time.
Prescott remains undefeated in its power point matches at 7-0. Next up for the Lady Badgers, it’s rivalry night. On Thursday, Prescott hosts Bradshaw Mountain at 7 p.m.
