The Prescott Fire Department will hold a free course on home ignition zones. Officials say the course is intended to aid homeowners and professionals interested in fire safety to protect structures against wildfires. The course includes a mix of classroom presentations and field practice, including property visits.
The first class takes place October 8th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the second class takes place October 9th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both classes take place at the Prescott Fire Department Training Center, located at 2900 Sundog Ranch Road.
