Because of the homecoming dance, the Prescott girls golf team had just three players available for their match in Sedona with Coconino Wednesday. As a result, they could not post a team score. But the trio who did play made their mark. Carolynn Westerman ended the match as the individual medalist with a 47. Maddie Osterloh finished in fifth place with a 55, and Lily Butler was seventh with a 61. All three players are sophomores.
The Prescott boys golf team was also in action Wednesday, moving from the familiar confines of Antelope Hills to Talking Rock for a dual match with Mountain Ridge. It was a tough course and both teams ended the day in a tie. No team scores were available. Tyler Blanchard was the medalist with a 38.
The Badgers don’t play again until October 2nd when they host ALA Gilbert North. The Lady Badgers are off until October 1st when they host Bradshaw Mountain and Eastmark.
