It’s clean up time for Dewey-Humboldt. The town’s fall dump days kicks off Monday, and will run through Thursday. Dumpsters will be available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the vacant lot on 12938 East Main Street.
Residents can dispose of items like furniture, televisions, mattresses, and non-commercial construction debris. Yard clippings, pine needles, and horehound must be bagged. Items that will not be accepted include tires, oil, paint, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks with valves, refrigerators with freon, household trash, and batteries. Those who have brush can take it to the maintenance yard at South Azurite and East Third Street for disposal.
Anyone participating in the Dewey-Humboldt dump days will have to unload their own vehicle.
