The Prescott Planning and Zoning Commission Thursday considered a 4-unit subdivision and tract for development of new apartments on the 15-acre lot on State Route 69 across from Costco.
Community Planner Jacob Lund made his presentation:
The second presentation was made by city Community Planner Tammy Dewitt regarding the revitalization of 130 North Cortez Street, which just passed the Preservation Committee with a vote of 3-2 a couple of weeks ago.
The third item was the rezoning of property on Dameron Street that was being requested by the West Yavapai Guidance Clinic. While there was concern over the reason for rezoning, the building has been operating since the mid-1960s under the current zoning plan and had been grandfathered in for the current usage as a health facility. The property is now up for sale and it is necessary to rezone for a sale to take place.
All items on the agenda were passed unanimously.
