In their first four games of the season, the Prescott flag football team notched four shutout wins. On Monday, the Lady Badgers sought clean sheet number five as they faced Mingus. Prescott got off to a great start as Addalyn Brandon recorded a safety on punt coverage. The Lady Badgers dominated the rest of the way to hang a 19-0 shutout on the Lady Marauders.
Rianna Aguilar had an interception, a rushing touchdown, and threw an 86-yard touchdown pass to Aubrey Kitahata. Maggie Maneely – ho-hum – got two interceptions.
Prescott is now 5-0 on the season and have outscored their opponents 155-0.
The Lady Badgers are home again on Thursday versus Dysart. Next week, Prescott is at ASU for the Fiesta Bowl Copper State Invitational.
