Downtown Prescott Bollard Installation Begins Monday

Starting Monday, crews will begin installing new removable bollards in downtown Prescott intersections. The work will affect areas around Montezuma, Cortez, Goodwin, and Sheldon streets, with full and partial closures in place through November 3.

Goodwin Street, from Montezuma to Cortez, will be completely closed to traffic. Lane closures and detours will be in effect around other intersections, including Sheldon and Montezuma, where work will occur in phases.

The project aims to improve pedestrian safety for parades and events ahead of Veterans Day.

Construction hours will run Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. On-street parking will be limited. Drivers should plan for delays and follow posted detour signs.
