ERAU Soccer Teams Vanquish Soka

In their last four games, the Embry-Riddle men’s soccer team achieved a win, a loss, and two draws, and scored a grand total of three goals. The Eagles’ offensive struggles looked like they would continue Thursday in California when they faced Soka University. The first half ended in a scoreless tie. But in the second half, Riddle turned it on and found the back of the net multiple times for a 3-0 victory. Lucas Thompson had a goal and an assist. Chris Cruz and Julian Albanil each had a goal. Alex Bissett made two saves.

Meanwhile, the number nine ranked Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team was quiet in the first half of their match with Soka, notching just one goal. They rattled off several more in the second half for the 4-0 triumph. Jamie Brandon scored twice. Tessa Updegraff and Leah Barone each had a goal. Chino Valley grad Kaitlyn Roskopf had an assist.

Both the Riddle men and women are at The Master’s University tomorrow.
