Yavapai College is gaining national recognition for its commitment to education and workforce development. The Association of Community College Trustees has named Yavapai College the Pacific Region recipient of its 2025 Impact and Success Award.
The award highlights institutions that demonstrate strong leadership in creating educational opportunities for first generation and low-income students. Yavapai College was recognized for expanding access, improving graduation rates, and offering increased support services for students in need.
YC President Dr. Lisa Rhine said the award reflects the dedication of the college’s faculty, staff, district governing board and partners.
The Impact and Success Award is a new national honor created by the association to recognize outstanding community colleges and leaders across five regions of the U.S. Yavapai College joins four other colleges nationwide in receiving the distinction this year.
