Local scoreboard from yesterday, the Mayer flag football team got shutout by River Valley 19-0. The Prescott boys golf team bested Sandra Day O’Connor 158-162. Jackson Carr finished 2nd with a 38 and Michael Read shot a 39.
“Of the Week” honors for two Yavapai College soccer players. Talon Bennett was named the ACCAC Keeper of the Week for the women, garnering 14 saves versus Arizona Western. Endreus Soares was named the men’s conference player of the week for his defensive performance against Arizona Western.
The MLB Playoffs continue on The Team 1450 AM KNOT today. At 2:30 p.m. it’s the Phillies versus the Dodgers. Then at 5:30 p.m. it’s the Brewers versus the Cubs.
