In their first six games of the season, the Prescott flag football team did not allow a single point. But in their first game of the Fiesta Bowl Copper State Invitational, the Absolute Zero cannon got turned around on them. The Lady Badgers opened Thursday’s play versus Hamilton, the number one ranked team in the entire nation. The Lady Huskies pitched a 48-0 shutout against Prescott.
During the game, quarterback Rianna Aguilar suffered a wrist injury. She did return for the second game of the day versus Mountain Ridge, and got a rushing touchdown with two seconds left in regulation to tie the score 14-14. The Lady Mountain Lions, however, got the win in overtime 20-14. Halle Teralak-Foster and Aubrey Kitahata both had touchdowns.
The Lady Badgers are back at ASU for the final day of the Invitational Saturday versus Xavier Prep.
