Yavapai County got a good soaking Thursday.
According to the County Flood Control District, Lynx Lake, Mingus Mountain, and Cordes Junction all received 0.35 inches of rain. Big Bug Mesa got 0.31 inches. Outer Loop Road, Fain Lake, and Camp Verde all had 0.28 inches. Pine Ridge Marketplace, Mayer, and Sedona all received under a quarter-inch of rain. Prescott Valley and Cottonwood both got 0.20 inches. Prescott Heights, Chino Valley, White Spar Campground, Prescott Country Club, and Black Canyon City all had 0.16 inches. Willow Lake, Goldwater Lake, and Williamson Valley all received 0.12 inches. Downtown Prescott and Ash Fork both got 0.08 inches, and Watson Lake, Thumb Butte, and Seligman all had 0.08 inches of rain.
It’s going to be another rainy day in Yavapai County today as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 70-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
