College Basketball Season Starts Soon for YC, ERAU

We are still in the midst of the fall sports season, but if you can believe it, basketball season is almost upon us. The Yavapai College men’s team has already had a couple of scrimmages at the Arizona Juco Jamboree earlier this month. Their first real game of the season is Halloween night in Twin Falls, Idaho, when they take on the College of Southern Idaho at the Physicians Immediate Care Tournament. The Roughriders’ first home game is November 5th versus New Mexico Military Institute.

The Yavapai College women also have a few scrimmages under their belt, and will also open the season on Halloween at the Snow College Classic in Utah versus the host school. The Lady Riders’ home opener is November 4th versus Pima.

For Embry-Riddle, the men’s season opener is next Thursday. They will host Justice University. The women open on the road October 29th at Puget Sound. Their home opener is November 22nd versus Arizona Christian.
