After going up against some bigger schools at the Fiesta Bowl Copper State Invitational last week, it was back to 4A conference competition for the Prescott flag football team. They were in Bullhead City last night to take on Mohave, and the Lady Badgers followed their usual script for power point games — meaning, they shut out their opponent, getting the 24-0 win over the Lady Thunderbirds.
“The Blue Bandit” Maggie Maneely caught two touchdown passes from Rylee Hart and also returned a punt for a score. Mallory Walsh kicked a field goal and went 3-for-3 on her extra point attempts.
Prescott is now 8-2 on the season and still have yet to allow a point in any of their power point games. They are back on the road Monday when they travel to Flagstaff to take on Coconino. The Lady Badgers return home next Wednesday versus Flagstaff.
