A female hiker was rescued from Granite Mountain Saturday morning. According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and search and rescue teams responded to a rock climbing accident, where a 30-year-old woman fell 10 to 15 feet and suffered a serious leg injury.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Paul Wick tells The News:
The tech provided aid, including a tourniquet, before moving the patient to a landing zone. From there she was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
