A Camp Verde man has been arrested for the second time in two weeks on drug charges.
According to the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office, James Olson was taken into custody after a traffic stop led to the discovery of more than eight ounces of methamphetamine. The stop was conducted by a K9 unit from the Marshal’s Office.
Deputies say Olson’s behavior and conflicting explanations raised red flags. When he refused to allow a search of his vehicle, the K9 was deployed and alerted to the presence of drugs.
A search revealed approximately eight-and-a-half ounces of meth.
Olson now faces multiple drug-related charges.
The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office posted on its Facebook page, “Some people just don’t learn.”
