A large swath of land at Old Home Manor is one step away from officially being rezoned. At its meeting Tuesday, the Chino Valley Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved a rezone of five parcels of land totaling almost 200 acres from Business Park to Public Land.
The matter now goes to the Town Council for final consideration. If approved, the Public Land designation would allow the town government to build such things as libraries, recreation centers, utility plants, and public safety facilities there.
