They were on the course for three days, and at the end of that third day, the Embry-Riddle women’s golf team came away champions of the Firestorm Invitational, hosted by Arizona Christian University. The Lady Eagles finished at 20 over par, three shots ahead of BC Okanagan. Three Riddle players finished in the top ten. Emma Marshall was second with a 216, Bella Mantini came in fourth with a 217, and Lila Becker was tenth with a 224. Charlotte Griffin came in 17th with a 228.
Meanwhile, for the guys, Embry-Riddle came in sixth place. Individually, Tyler Tamayori finished second with a score of 211. Prescott grad Jonathan Tso was ninth with a 215.
That wraps up the fall portion of Embry-Riddle’s schedule. They return to action February 9th at the College of Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational.
