Highway 69 Work in Prescott Officially Complete

It took more than a year, but ADOT officials have declared the Highway 69 improvement project in Prescott officially done.

In partnership with the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization, crews added an extra lane in each direction between Prescott Lakes Parkway and Yavpe Connector, expanding the roadway from four to six lanes. The $9.8 million project also included new raised center medians from Yavpe Connector to Heather Heights, as well as curb and gutter work, storm drain installations, and other infrastructure improvements.

Although main construction has wrapped, motorists may still see crews on-site for final checks over the next few weeks.
