Local scoreboard from weekend — in post-season action, the Embry-Riddle men’s soccer team got shut out by La Sierra 4-0 in the GSAC semifinals.
In the GSAC cross country championship meet, both the Embry-Riddle men and women were conference runners-up. Individually, Sophia Noriega was the women’s champion, and Ben Smith was the runner-up for the men.
Regular season, in basketball, for the men, Yavapai College dealt with South Mountain 73-70. “The Detective” Torrin Bosch registered 20 points and eleven assists. The Embry-Riddle men topped both Warner Pacific 89-77 and Lewis and Clark 87-79. Noah Gifft put up 35 points in the L&C game. For the ladies, Embry-Riddle bested Truett McConnell 69-50. Angelina Whelan garnered ten points.
