The Prescott Valley Police Department is asking for help after a hit-and-run incident on Wednesday. At approximately 6:15 PM, an older, beat-up, dark-colored pickup truck with a camper shell struck a pedestrian on North Jasper Parkway, just a half mile from East Copper Hill Road. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries, but tragically, the family dog was thrown about 50 feet from the scene and killed. The suspect driver failed to stop and left the scene immediately after the collision.
Prescott Valley police are asking anyone with information on this incident or the vehicle involved to come forward.
