It’s not one, but two good quarterbacks the number one seed Prescott flag football team will have to deal with in tonight’s state final four game. Number two seed Salpointe Catholic has freshman Isla Collins, who has 2,183 passing yards and 46 touchdowns this season. Quite a few times during the course of a game, Collins will be switched out for Lilly Mann, who has thrown for 832 yards and ten touchdowns. The main target for them is sophomore Aliyah Adger, who has 17 touchdown catches this season.
But the Lady Lancers will have to contend with a tough Lady Badger defense. In last Saturday’s Elite Eight game versus ALA Gilbert North, Prescott made life miserable for one of the state’s top quarterbacks, Karissa Behnke, recording six sacks, two interceptions, and twelve pass deflections.
The game takes place tonight at 6 p.m. at Prescott’s Bill Shepard Field, and we will have live play-by-play of it on The Team 1450 AM KNOT.
