Bradshaw Mt. Middle School Among State’s Most Improved Schools

State Schools Superintendent Tom Horne says strong academics are paying off for schools across Arizona. He announced 108 schools have successfully exited “school improvement” status after implementing rigorous, evidence-based teaching strategies.

The schools had been identified for extra support under federal accountability rules, which require states to intervene in the lowest-performing Title One schools.

Horne says the schools used proven programs focused on core academic subjects to drive student success. The one school in Yavapai County that fell into this category is Bradshaw Mountain Middle School.

Horne calls the results a win for students, teachers, and communities invested in education that works.
