ADOT officials are advising drivers in the Paulden area to expect lane restrictions on Highway 89 Monday. Crews will reduce the highway to a single lane with alternating traffic in both directions from Midway Drive to Bramble Drive between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Flaggers and law enforcement will help direct drivers safely through the work zone.
The speed limit will be dropped to 35 miles per hour, and vehicles wider than twelve feet won’t be allowed through. The daily lane restrictions will be lifted after work hours.
These restrictions are needed to apply final pavement markings to the travel lanes.
