Changes to Yavapai College’s Tuition

At the Yavapai College District Governing Board meeting last Wednesday, the board unanimously approved changes to the college’s tuition and fees for the 2026 to 2027 academic year.

The new tuition rates and fees were approved for both in-state and out-of-state students beginning July 1st, 2026. General education will cost 116 dollars per credit, career and technical education will cost 143 dollars per credit, and health education will cost 209 dollars per credit. The gunsmithing program will cost 168 dollars per credit, and the HVAC and viticulture programs will cost 175 dollars per credit.

Course fees will generally increase, with the exception of the commercial pilot course which will decrease by 7 percent. Changes will also be made to the auxiliary services fees.

College officials say Yavapai College remains one of Arizona’s most affordable options for higher education with tuition and fees remaining 80 percent lower than those of Arizona public universities.
