She said she wanted to “make money for the holidays.” But the way she allegedly went about it got her arrested.
According to the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle for a civil traffic violation Tuesday night. A K9 was deployed and alerted to 15 grams of meth in the vehicle. The driver, Melissa Charlie of Camp Verde, was arrested. She now faces multiple charges, including possession of dangerous drugs, possession for sale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officials with the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office remind the public there are legal ways to earn money, and many local businesses are hiring.
