The lights went out in Prescott Valley because of a car crash.
According to the Prescott Valley Police Department, a vehicle crashed into a transformer box near Highway 69 and East Prescott Highway Friday afternoon. That resulted in a power outage for much of southeast Prescott Valley.
APS crews managed to restore power before 6 p.m.
