The water treatment project at Prescott’s Watson Lake is still going on. The purpose of the treatment is to improve water clarity, reduce organics, and reduce the amount of weeds and algae. City officials report the project should be completed by next Tuesday.
Watson Lake remains open during the treatment, which will have no negative impact on aquatic life or drinking water.
